Kite for Mac is almost ready. Here’s how setup will work.
Kite for Mac needs macOS 13 Ventura or later.

Install it
Open Kite.dmg from your Downloads, then drag Kite into your Applications folder.
Set up Kite on your Mac
Open Kite from Applications. Choose a password and a name for your Mac. Kite lives in your menu bar, top right.
Allow control
When asked, turn on Accessibility (for clicking and typing) and Screen Recording (to see your screen) in System Settings. Then reopen Kite.
Get Kite on your iPhone
Install Kite for iPhone from the App Store and sign in. Tap Add a Mac, then scan the QR code in Kite on your Mac, or type its 9-digit Kite ID, and enter your password.
Approve your phone
Your Mac shows a six-digit code. If your phone shows the same code, click Codes Match, Allow. That’s it — your Mac is on your phone.
Keep it reachable
A sleeping Mac can’t answer your phone. In Kite’s window, leave Keep this Mac awake on. On a laptop, turn on Stay reachable with the lid closed too, so you can close the lid and still reach it while it’s on a charger or a USB-C power bank.
